“Dairy Queen restaurants in Texas are truly iconic,” says Shane McAuliffe, host of The Texas Bucket List. “We’re looking forward to visiting with our shared fans in Houston. What makes this visit special is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Texas Dairy Queens and the season premiere of The Texas Bucket List on September 3.”

Fans of The Texas Bucket List and Dairy Queen can meet Shane McAuliffe and enjoy a complimentary Dilly® Bar, DQ® Sandwich or StarKiss Bar for the first 150 people at the Dairy Queen on 4757 Spencer Hwy., in Pasadena on Monday, August 29 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Several lucky attendees will be eligible to win $25 gift cards along with other give aways.

The Texas Bucket List spotlights cultural touchpoints throughout the Lone Star State, including offbeat museums, restaurants, businesses and, of course, quirky, larger-than-life Texans. Hosted by storyteller Shane McAuliffe, the half-hour program airs in 22 Texas media markets, including Houston.

“The partnership with The Texas Bucket List beautifully aligns our shared core audiences,” says Lou Romanus, CEO of TDQOC. “Our customers respect our state’s grand traditions and history, which make up the program’s storytelling focus. We’re incredibly proud to work with Shane and his talented cast and crew as they tell stories about Texas and Texans.”
